Chris Abel is the Visiting Professor, Hyde Chair of Excellence at the University of Nebraska, School of Architecture and Planning. He also runs the 'Vertical Architecture Studio' and is the author of over one hundred publications of theory and criticism on a wide range of subjects. In 2003 he was co-curator with Norman Foster for the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition, Sky High: Vertical Architecture, and wrote the book of the same title, published by the Royal Academy in conjunction with the exhibition.
