Medical Office Tower Proposed in Brisbane

Brisbane, Australia – 17 May 2017

Treelight Development Group has submitted a development application for an 18-story specialist medical suite commercial tower located at 484 Upper Edward Street in the Spring Hill neighborhood of Brisbane.

The tower, designed by Rothelowman, joins a growing list of new developments in the area. According to Treelight Development Group the project will comprise 28 spacious and sophisticated medical suites designed to attract leading medical specialists to the fast expanding inner city location. The new facility would be leased to the specialists with a focus on providing a complete range of healthcare options within one location.

Plans for the project include extensive car parking amenities, allocated to two basement levels and another four levels of podium car parking, sleeved by commercial tenancies. There will be 39 car parking spaces that use a car lift system, including a disabled space within the basements and podium levels.

Other project details include ground-level food and drink outlets and a community recreational open space on level four between the podium and tower and on the rooftop. The project will acknowledge the nearby Brisbane CBD and enhance the green web throughout the area by contributing its own subtropical landscape to the ground plane, podium, elevated tower gardens, and planted recreation on the roof.

The site currently houses a two-story motel building known as the Dorchester Inn.
