Dual Residential Towers Proposed at 60 Skyring Terrace in Brisbane

Brisbane, Australia – 24 July 2017

Developer Mirvac has submitted a development application for two new residential towers at 60 Skyring Terrace, Newstead.

Known as the Shore, the proposed two-stage development comprises a 26- and 22-story tower with a four-story podium and ground-level retail. The towers together will house 333 apartments, broken down into 129 one-, 179 two-, and 25 three-bedroom units.

Amenities across both towers include rooftop pools, casual lounge areas, and tree planting on the rooftop decks. The development also includes a new pedestrian retail block from Skyring Terrace to Festival Place.

Designed by Mirvac, the core concepts of the development’s architecture are based on its historical relationship with the Brisbane River shoreline and aim to be a visual extension of the ground-level retail from neighboring developments such as Gasworks, Skyring Apartments, and Lucent.
