A mixed-use resort in Kaslik is being planned by Sam Elias, a Lebanese-Australian developer. Excavation for the Soul Beach Resort will start in July 2018. The project is scheduled to be completed within three years.
The project will be built on a 16,382-square meter land plot, which has been leased from the Maronite Mariamite Order for 37 years, with the possibility to renew for another 37 years. The area is 78,000 square meters, with a seafront of 110 meters.
Investment in the project is around $85 million.
The project comprises a 28-floor, 120-room hotel, as well as a 3,000-square meter shopping mall, 220 chalets, ten restaurants, six pubs, and a yacht marina.
Plans for Soul Beach Resort also include a four-level parking area, four swimming pools, an 800 square-meter kids' area, a 1,200 square-meter ballroom, and three conference rooms.
The Directorate of Urban Planning has approved the license for Saile Construction, the project’s contractor.
Middle East Architecture and Engineering Company (MEAE) is the project’s architect. Bureau Veritas is the testing, inspection, and certification consultant. Karim Tabet is the project’s civil engineer.
