Work continues at the site of Citzyen Development Group and Fernbrook Homes’ Tower at Pier 27, where the architectsAlliance-designed condominium tower is rising above Queen’s Quay East. Under construction immediately north of the first phase Waterlink at Pier 27 buildings at the foot of Yonge Street, the project’s ascent is now nearing its ultimate 35-story height.

In December, forming had reached the tower’s 23rd floor. Since then, an additional five levels have been formed. Another seven residential levels and a mechanical penthouse will follow, bringing Tower at Pier 27 to its final height of 115 meters. The tower’s window wall cladding—featuring full-height windows and grey spandrel framed in slender mullions—now stretches up to the 17th floor, while installation of the pattern-fritted balcony glazing now reaches the podium’s eighth floor.

The project will introduce 336 new homes to an area of the city witnessing rapid growth. Along with in-house amenities for Tower at Pier 27 residents, residents will be able to enjoy a new community center being built as part of the Pinnacle One Yonge development to the north.
